The greatest concern in the process that immigrants must face

Everywhere we turn our eyes, there is always a concern about immigration. If we turn the tv, or we are watching news in different platforms, there is always someone who is speaking about immigration issues and how they have an effect in our lives. The greatest challenges in the process that immigrants have to overcome when coming to the United States are border security, deportations and at the very end, there is something that is not less defiant, their own social integration. Immigrants face challenges every day and that impact in our society in a way nothing has never done before. The Unites States is a country with a wide range diversity in cultures, traditions, languages, and because it is nurtured by the immigrant population. On the other hand, the United States is a country that is changing its immigration policies continuously. This change from open borders from the Biden-Harris administration contrast the current. This is a country that the law is enforced, and the Supreme Law of the Land is followed. Laws that in other countries are damaged by corruption and politics most of the time. This does not mean that corruption do not exist here in the Unites States, but there are check and balances. Those politics influence the community in the way that how to face these concerns as a society. It is imperative to know the challenges they face, and It is time to deep analyze the greatest concerns and how immigrants face this situation in their lives.

The border between Mexico and the United States is the most transited border in the world and the most dangerous.  Border security is the top of concerns for the present administration. The border that divides Mexico with Unites States has 1,954 miles. The border that separates both countries has been tried to close because it’s implications with security, economy and education. The first is referred to the criminal activity that occurs in this border; where, humans, drugs, weapons are money are trafficked every day.  The river that limits Mexico and the U.S. has extreme weather conditions, people die every day trying to cross over, trying to be part of this society. But nothing stops migrants to come to the Unites States. The criminal groups and mafias convoke people in other countries doing a false marketing about the present situation in America. Secondly, the border expands through the sea and air. Most of the undocumented immigrants have “crossed the border” legally through a visitor visa or student visa, etc. There is a belief in our society that immigrants most of the time through Mexico but sometimes this is not the case. Migrants come from different countries and come overseas. The importance of border security that divide the U.S. with the world is because of the integrity of the people who cross the border. Secondly, most of the time, local communities are afraid immigrants come to America to receive public benefits and to take the jobs of Americans. Third, and not less important is the public education system immigrants receive that are paid with the money of tax contributors.

Now that immigrants finally cross the border, there is an important issue about how they will incorporate in the community and how they will contribute to the society, but they are not able to get a legal status, and they could face deportation.    President Trump told reporters at the White House on Tuesday that undocumented immigrants should not have trials before being deported. "We're getting them out, and I hope we get cooperation from the courts because you know, we have thousands of people that are ready to go out, and you can't have a trial for all of these people," he said. As it is referred in the article by Los Angeles Times. Millions of immigrants who live in the United States could face and expedited removal without having a due process. The population is afraid by those statements, and they are looking for legal advice who prevent them to be taken away from this country where have built their lives and contribute to the society.

Then all the people that is left behind in their country without any possibility of fixing their legal situation face the social integration. There are barriers as learning the language, the cultures and the laws that need to be follow. People who immigrate to this country most of the times are very well-educated persons who have studied and are looking a better future for their families in this country full of entrepreneurs. Most of native American believe that immigrants can be treated as slaves and are able to work in precarious conditions. In the article, Check, Please! Health and Working Conditions in San Francisco Chinatown Restaurants mentions how the workers are being exploited and abused by their employers. Also, how they confront and resist the common situation of living in such a small single room apartments and paying excessive rents after receiving less than the minimum wage for all the worked hours during the week.  As a result, locals and immigrants in these communities face the detriments in their lifestyle, health and living conditions.

In the video as “American as Chop Suey” by  _______ relates the suffering of a lot of Chinese immigrants who come to this country and be part of the population. Although, to come to America immigrants sometimes pay excessively to cross the border and sell their properties only for the with the purpose of having a job offer at the time they have a foot in American soil. A lot of Chinese workers are paid as little of ____ and hour and work six to seven days a week with no brakes wither sick paid leave. They come to this country, but they are not having the same opportunities as natives. For the only reason, they are afraid and are not able to communicate because of language barriers. As consequence immigrants do not know what resources are available for them and are continuously abused. In addition to this, they do not the laws that can protected them against their deportation and those laws who could help them to become legal permanent residents. Natives Americans a lot of the times belief that immigrants have come to replace Americans in their job. There is no American who is willing to work under those conditions, without brakes and to be victims of labor abuse.

After all the information reviewed and border security, deportation and social integration; there is a lot of work to be done in our communities to conscientized about how immigrants as part of the society can change the perspective and how we can give a solution to these problems that deteriorate our lives and left us in fear and anxiety.

The Greatest Concerns Immigrants Must Face

Everywhere we turn our eyes, there is always a concern about immigration. If we turn on the tv, or we are watching news on different platforms, there is always someone who is speaking about immigration issues and how they influence our lives. The greatest challenges in the process that immigrants have to overcome when coming to the United States are border security, deportations, and at the very end, there is something that is not less defiant, their own social integration. Immigrants face challenges every day, and that impacts in our society in a way nothing has never done before. The Unites States is a country with a wide range of diversity in cultures, traditions, and languages do to it being nurtured by the immigrant population. On the other hand, the United States is a country that is changing its immigration policies continuously leading communities in fear and anxiety. This change from open borders by the Biden-Harris administration contradicts the current policy. The Trump administration is arresting and deporting undocumented immigrants without the due process to their home country and others to a hostile country where they will never be able to exit, and where their human rights are not protected. America is a country where the law is enforced, and the Supreme Law of the Land is followed. Laws that in other countries are damaged by corruption and policies most of the time. This does not mean that corruption does not exist here in the Unites States, but there have been checks and balances until now. Those changes in current policies influence the community in the way that we face our daily lives as a society. It is imperative to know the challenges immigrants face in each stage, and it is time to deeply analyze the greatest concerns and how immigrants confront this situation in their lives. There are concerns that have negative effect in our community like  border security, the policies in deportation, and the social integration of immigrants, and we as society need to develop a path to improve our society, and stop prejudgement.

The border between Mexico and the United States is the most transited border in the world and the most dangerous.  Border security is the top concern for the present administration. The border that divides Mexico from the Unites States is two thousand miles in length. The border that separates both countries has been tried to close because it’s implications with security, economy and education. The first is referred to the criminal activity that occurs in this border where humans, drugs, weapons and money are trafficked every day.  The river that limits Mexico and the U.S. has extreme weather conditions. People die every day trying to cross over because they want to be part of this society.  Nothing stops immigrants to come to the Unites States. The criminal groups and mafias convoke people in other countries doing false marketing about the present immigrant situation in America. There is a belief in our society that immigrants most of the time cross through Mexico although this is not the case. The border expands through the sea and air. Immigrants come from different countries. Many of the undocumented immigrants have “crossed the border” legally through a visitor visa or student visa. Third, most of the time, local communities are afraid immigrants that arrived at U.S. soil would be able to receive public benefits and take the jobs of born Americans. Also, not less important is the public education system immigrants receive that is paid with tax contributors’ money. This last one, many Americans misunderstand and believe that immigrants do not contribute to this country, but this is not true. Many Americans in need of public benefits do resist to receive help. Although, immigrants who do not have a legal status in this country are not able to receive public benefits.

Now that immigrants finally cross the border, there is an important issue about how they will incorporate in the community and how they will be able to contribute to the society. Although some individuals have entered the country legally and complied with immigration laws, they may never be able to obtain legal status. Some immigrants have arrived through a program from Biden-Harris administration, who allowed them to come to the U.S. being paroled at the border. Now, they are facing expedited removal if they arrived less than two years ago. Another group of immigrants are the ones that arrived illegally, and do not have a qualifying relative to file a waiver in their behalf. Despite, those immigrants have an immediate relative, they will never be able to receive a Legal Permanent Status. All of them, could face deportationPresident Trump has told reporters at the White House on Tuesday that undocumented immigrants should not have trials before being deported. The population is afraid by those statements, and they are looking for legal advice who prevent them to be taken away from this country where they have built their lives over the years and have contributed to the society.

Third and not less defiant is the people that stay in this country without any possibility of fixing their legal situation. They must face the social integration. The most common barriers are learning the language, the culture, and the laws that need to be followed. People who immigrate to this country most of the times are very well-educated in their own country. They are persons who have studied and are looking a bright and better future for their families in this land full of entrepreneurs. Most of born American believe that immigrants can be treated as slaves and are able to work in precarious conditions. In the article, Check, Please! Health and Working Conditions in San Francisco Chinatown Restaurants mentions how the workers are being exploited and abused by their employers. In addition, this article describes how they confront and resist the common situation of living in such a small single room apartments and paying excessive rents after receiving less than the minimum wage for all the worked hours during the week.  As a result, locals and immigrants in these communities face the detriments in their lifestyle, health and living conditions.  In the video as “American as Chop Suey” by Katie Salisbury relates the suffering of a lot of Chinese immigrants who come to this country and to be part of the population. Although, to come to America immigrants sometimes pay excessively to be smuggled into U.S. They need to sell their properties only with the purpose of having a job offer at the time they have a foot in American soil. A lot of Chinese workers are paid less than the minimum wage and work six to seven days a week with no brakes either paid sick leave. Immigrant who come to this country do not have the same opportunities as people with a legal status. Because they most of the time do not know English language, they are not able to communicate. Therefore, immigrants do not know what resources are available for them and are continuously abused. It is nnfortunate that they do not know the laws that can protected them against their deportation. They do not know the laws who could help them to become legal permanent residents. Americans a lot of the times belief that immigrants have come to replace Americans in their job. There is no American who is willing to work under those conditions, without brakes and to be victims of labor abuse.

After all the information reviewed and border security, deportation, and social integration there is a lot of work to be done in our communities to conscientized about how immigrants as part of the society. Also, how can we change the perspective, and how can we give a solution to these problems that deteriorate our lives and left us in fear and anxiety. What can we do as a society? Where is our human sense? There is a lot of work to be done, and nothing compares to the suffering these immigrant communities is facing in these moments. We need to understand that their need to immigrate and leave everything behind in their home country is because of the only illusion they want to come to this beautiful country and become a contributor. Many of them immigrate to reunite with the family member that came first. Immigrants have left everything behind, and most of the time they are willing to do their best. Although, sometimes they are abused, trafficked, and are victims of the system. Finally, our society need to be more empathic about all immigrants that are here without legal situation.  Even though many of them pay taxes and they contribute to this country, they will never be able to get any help or public benefits unless they fix their legal situation that in most of the cases this will never be able to fix it.
